If my grandma were still alive, she'd already have the sprouts on for next Christmas....

We lived an hour away and she'd put them on when we called to say we were leaving, and we didn't eat for a good hour or so after we got there ...and then there was a starter before we got to the main course (slices of [honeydew] melon with lemon and ginger sprinkled on and a decoration of orange bits and grapes on a cocktail stick like the sail on a boat), so they were nice and cold too because this was pre-microwave era.....

I do like all the Brassicas, particularly Kale (grow my own) and broccoli. Cauliflower needs to be in the form of cauliflower cheese and not cooked to death. Sprouts are my least favorite, but I suspect that's because of the memories of roasts at grandma's. have tried roasting in various formats, but prefer minimally steamed.
