In general, and obviously for what it's worth, I've found the Cellar experience to be a positive one. As I told UnderToad in an e-mail, it has what might be loosely described as
critical mass, i.e., sufficient numbers of varying opinions.
One improvement, however, might be to reduce the number of categories, possibly eliminate the categories completely. I've found that the boards that don't attempt to "library" posts invite more crosstalk. Those that would normally avoid a category simply as a result of its description have exposure and often find they've an opinion on topics once deemed boring or over their heads.
