A passing truck, had left the pup
At the crossroads near our farm
For 15 years you settled here
And kept cattle safe from harm
You were a very happy dog
Your breed I can’t look up
What can I do? A JSU!
That’s short for ( Just Showed Up)
I’ll really miss your smiling face
Our gate you’d always wait
For our return, your heart would yearn
No matter if we’re late
We buried you beneath the tree
Your bark is silent now
My hope for you that wishes come true
And in Heaven there are cows.
