Steve Martin.
I would in a sense be meeting with the great comic minds of our times: he is purported to have been involved in a great poker scene, consisting of (according to various stories) Neil Simon, Bob Newhart, Johnny Carson, Chevy Chase, Don Rickles, Carl Reiner, Martin Short. I imagine they laughed, a LOT.
From the Wild and Crazy Guy album, which my parents owned...to his tv appearances and films, I have always though Martin to be a funny and extremely personable guy. I named my first cat Toonces, after Martin's "Toonces the Driving Cat" on SNL.
And my first question? "Jack Handey. That's you, isn't it?"
(Martin falls off his chair, in awe of my powers of perception. Then he asks to marry me. Or at least asks me to play poker.)
