We have just been notified that the police will shut down 395 in both directions from the 14th Street Bridge to the Anacostia River beginning at 1:00PM today due to President Obama deciding to travel by car to meet the Pope when he arrives at Andrews AFB this afternoon. Suitland Parkway will also be shut down and Rock Creek Parkway will be closed up to Calvert Street starting around 4:00PM.
This will be a hard closure that will stay in place until 5PM today.

This map is deceiving, because I think all those big fat green lines in the middle are actually closed empty streets.
