Most of us have silly phrases or nicknames for things that only our families and friends understand, some of us have shared the odd one here and there in the cellar. We even have some that are Pure Cellar* --haggis--
At first I thought it might be interesting to have a thread about it ...and then I thought "what the queef,. let's turn it into a game". So -if you fancy it- PM me your secret words&phrases and their meanings, and when I have enough I'll post a list for us all to guess the meanings (and the originators if so desired). Or Not.
An example might be "Sparrow Guts". ZippyT uses this occasionally and it has now become standard parlance in our household.
*Michigan called, it wants its expensive slogan back!
