I love it when a plan comes together.

I did some research. In a nutshell, it seems UT would have to make a small change to the VIMEO BB code for it to work in Edge.

This would appear to stem from the Cellar conversion from http to https. The Cellar is secure; but, the old embed code is not. This creates a conflict for the security fussiness built into Edge.

Meanwhile, there's a small icon at the top of the Edge browser page above which the label "Blocked content" appears when the cursor is hovered over it. Clicking on it gives the option to see all content with another click. I can then watch Vimeo videos in Edge.

IAW Vimeo, the fix would be for UT to edit the Vimeo embed code and remove the "http:" part of the code (leaving "//player.vimeo.com") since Vimeo supports protocol relative URLs. That would ensure that the embed will always follow the protocol of this site, even if it changes again.

My embedded videos always played fine in other browsers but Edge. When in Edge a page with embedded videos is displayed, the thumbnails aren't shown and when I click the icon with a stylised shield on top, the following error message is shown (translated from Dutch):
QUOTE
Content blocked
You see safe content only
Content transmitted by way of an unsafe connection is blocked to protect your data.
UNQUOTE
When the option "View all content" is clicked, the thumbnails come up and videos can be started.
What's up?

It looks like you're using a secure (https) site, but the Vimeo URLs in the iframe embed code on your site are not secure (player.vimeo.com). You can resolve this issue by editing the embed code on your site — just remove the "http:" part of the code. We support "protocol relative URLs" that look like this: "//player.vimeo.com" Using protocol relative URLs will ensure that the embeds will always follow the protocol of your site, even if it changes.

After a good night's sleep I tried your suggestion and YES, it works! Great!
