Why this is excellent: Fender doesn't really do transparent dye style guitars, where you can see the wood grain through the finish. They will do it halfway for "sunburst" style paint jobs, where you can see the grain in the lighter section in the middle. But they just don't do this style, and it's the best style because if you have nice wood you might as well whip it out and show it off.
Also dark teal is the best transparent dye color.
