My grandson, Brian is turning 11 and in 5th grade. He is small for his age, always has been. He decided to play football on the community league and is as expected one of the smaller players. Sadly, their team was a new team for this league as their numbers had grown and instead of just drafting the kids into existing teams they started a couple of new teams and most of the kids have not played a lot so they have yet to win a game, let alone even score so far!
Here a couple of shots of him from last week, he is in the white uniform and the one taking a dive. The other team kept putting this big kid up against Brian because they knew he could easily get by him and go on to the next kid. But Brian kept trying to block him. The big kid was nice though, after he would knock Brian down he would give him a hand up and pat him on the back.
