Green capelin roe is my best guess. Adhered to some seaweed, my fingers shown here for scale (not for hygiene
). This was at a very low tide on the Hood Canal near Quilecene. I moved them slightly, they're a single mass, and then I folded the seaweed back over them and resumed my hunt for dinner.
