HA HA!!!! I am so glad that I am not the only one who has ever done this. I lived close enough to walk to my school(s) also, and though I don't remember too many details, I do remember walking thru a snowstorm and finding I was locked out of school (
um, except it was high school), only to find out it was cancelled after I finally gave up and went back home. Boy did I feel dumb.
