Eeny, meeny, there are two vocabulary threads going.
I don't have to look words up very often, especially those on the first page of the newspaper.
Yesterday it was "chyron," sometimes "Chyron," with an s to pluralize.
Looked it up today, forget a dictionary.
Anybody know it without looking it up?
Then (clue Twilight Zone theme) at the same time I came across:
"When we buried poor Jack, we took care
To provide him with coins. We're aware
Charon's ferry's not free;
Jack needs cash for the fee:
Hence the death penny meant for his fare."
