Wandered over here from Fark, liked what I saw enough to register and drop everyone a line saying 'Hi!'.
I'll probably be very quiet until I know my way around a little better. However, you guys seem to be relatively kind to newbies so I wanted to introduce myself. I live in Seattle, WA... I do development for a small company that drives me mad with stress (mad!) but allows me to work from home, so it's a bit of a tradeoff.
In my off-hours I generally do a lot of walking around the city when I'm not playing PC/console games. Also a big big reader. That description probably matches a large segment of the population around here
