I didn't decide to start getting tattoos till I was quite old by many standards. I think I said I'd had my first one ten years ago, but I've been thinking about that, and it hasn't been that long. More like about 7 I think. That would have made me about 27 when I got my first. The second one was a year or so later, and it's taken me 5yrs to feel strongly enough about getting the next one. I'd say I'll get more in the future. I think like most people, once you get your first, you'll always want more. Some people don't though, and that's cool. I can't say I'm in a hurry to face up to the pain again too soon though.
