Bambi visits all the time and the 100,000 Thumpers who already live here are getting fat and sassy. Even Smokey (the Bear) has been dropping by, yet zillions of apples and pears remain. I'm scairt to walk around out there - it's a jungle filled with wildlife and fallen apples. Now I know how Eve must have felt.

Me like this idea. When all the peaches got ripe this summer (yeah, there's peach trees too but not as bad as the pears and apples), I had a pan of them ferment on me literally overnight when I forgot to put them in the fridge.
The Swiss make pear brandy. I'll have to see if I can find a recipe. Apple brandy would most definitely be a winner in my book, also.
