I suspect that when it comes to posting, you don't swing unless you know you're going to hit it. So your hit/miss ratio is pretty good. But you are aware of all the reject thoughts that you never post, so your view of yourself is clouded (tempered? more based in reality? not sure which word to use here) by those reject thoughts.
Or maybe you're just modest too.
