OK. I have no more advice to give except he flip a coin. Heads it's tuba, tails it's bari. The trick is to believe (make him believe?) that he must do what the coin says. When the coin makes the decision what does he feel? Relief? or Disappointment? And then go with that feeling .... i.e. coin says "bari" and he is disappoint. So go to tuba. Or coin says bari and he is like "phew!", so go with bari .....
