I wish, really wish, I could help you here, but I am a relationship failure. I've tried several and apparently, I am hell to live/be with. They contain me here in this "house" and provide me with "food" and they ask me to not bother them anymore. Any advice I could offer would be tainted, heavily, with failure. But, I do feel your pain.
