As a kid, I used to tell my Grampa in Tennessee that snakes don't have legs,
but he would stand me down that they do, and he could prove it.
He would tell me to hold any snake over an big open fire,
and as the fire got to them, they would drop four feet.
It only took me til adulthood to get his joke.
