Many people would then post about the item on FB, ignoring the Cellar thread.
The Cellar would then become nothing but a source of ad-supported material for a pretty stupid big silicon valley corporation.
Then, without a community contributing to it, the Cellar dies. The only (remaining) purpose for this place is the community.
