(like that's never happened before...) so I didn't have time. Mr. Clod went and got something at Fry's an hour before the party, some kind of metal puzzle desk toy thing. I never actually saw it before he tossed it in the gift bag. Our contingency plan if he couldn't leave work a few minutes early was to buy a handful of lottery tickets at the gas station on our way there.
