Don't talk to me about Brussels Sprouts.
Dad loves the wretched things but I only eat them because it saves cooking another vegetable.
I went into town on Thursday morning and there were no loose sprouts to be had in M&S.
All they had were what I call 'sprouts on a stalk'.
The M&S marketing bods have other ideas...

I usually buy fruit and veg from a very good (and cheaper) stall at the local market but they aren't back until the second week in January.
However, given that the Devil's vegetable keeps Dad happy, I'm inclined to the view that it was money well spent.
