As a wee pup growing up in Texas, the fambly made the occasional visit to the Texas State Fair, where the ORIGINAL corny dog was given birth in 1942.
If you have never had a Fletcher's corny dog, you have not eaten a corny dog. Not a
real one, anyway.
To this day, the only fair food that I simply MUST eat is a corn dog (not that standard fair corn dogs are anywhere
near as delicious as the original corny dog, but I ain't going back to Texas just for that).
