We didn’t create the present crisis but we have to suffer from its toxic effect

We didn’t create the present crisis but we have to suffer from its toxic effect. Tensions have been ratcheting up in EU and I bet you the worst is yet to come! Anyway that nasty perspective is clearly prompted by signature decisions by EU governments to cut drastically payments to the retired and state employees.
We’ve got to be economical now just to survive through that hard time. That’s plain. Still I wonder why our officials do this at our expense. Why not curb those excessively generous projects to support those spongers from Eastern Europe.
Now that last European dictator Victor Lukashenko, he’s some really special case imo. I happened to learn the wily bloke promised to make pensions and salaries in his country up to 60% higher!! There are presidential elections pending in Byelorussia and Lukashenko is firmly set to keep the wheel in the next term. But h-ll …. why should he do this at our expense? I don’t doubt a bit he grabs the money from the EU aid meant for democratic and economic reforms actually.
So while ‘poor’ Byelorussia has been glamming up ‘prosperous’ EU countries have to tighten the belts…..
