Thing is, the federal government owns almost 60% of California's forests. California itself owns roughly 2% (the rest is owned by private citizens, Native American tribes, and various independent companies). And since his administration has gleefully cut funding for the BLM, the "gross mismanagement of the forests" can be placed at
his fucking doorstep.
Oh, and let's don't ignore the fact that he has shown exactly ZERO concern and offered ZERO condolences for those fleeing the flames, losing their homes, losing their livelihoods, losing their goddamned lives.
