we should all agree to put a line in our wills to notify the cellar in the event of our demise.

You've touched on something that bugs me. I don't want to leave anything when I'm gone: posts, blogs, pix, whatever. Notifying friends that I won't be back - even if nobody would otherwise notice - is just plain courtesy. But how to accomplish it without giving a stranger usernames and passwords now? Anyone have a thought?

And it does seem that naming the problem undoes the bad juju, so rely on it to carry you through, Brianna.
