Years and years ago when I smoked cigarettes, a friend kept asking to "borrow" a cigarette.
I fixed the situation by carrying a special pack with only 1 cigarette in it. When he asked, I'd pull out that pack and offer it to him. He wouldn't take it because the "code of the west" said you just don't take someone's last cigarette. A special billfold with $1 might work as well |
