Family Window Stickers

I've often thought it would be funny to have one of those family window stickers with just 'me' standing there waving.

Now I find that I'm not the first to dream up funny alternatives to the ubiquitous family window stickers.

(There are a couple more at the link that won't save correctly for me to upload. My favorite is the one woman with all the cats behind her.)

Quote:
A some point in the last couple of years, every middle-aged suburban dad in the country seems to have gathered in a top-secret underground lair and decided it was time to tell the world about their families in descending order from tallest to shortest. The rest of us — i.e., sane people — have put up with these obnoxious stick-figure roll-calls ever since. And apparently, some of us are starting to break.
(Not sure why he says 'suburban dad' seems it'd be mostly women putting these things on their car.

disclaimer: If you or one of your loved ones has such stickers, please be advised this is not an editorial comment on you or your personal choices regarding family window stickers.

Why do people get so upset over what amounts to a window .sig line?

Because if you are close enough to read it, you are stuck in traffic, and are grumpy. And you blame the person in front of you for the traffic, when you are just as much at fault.

Sigh...you see why I needed a disclaimer?

'Get so upset'? Really? Why are people so protective of such silly stuff?

Please Cellar, find your center again, find your humor. For fuck fucking sake.

Our "new" used car is very boring and has no personality. It takes a little effort to find it in a parking lot.

We need to come up with some way to personalize it. My wife is pushing for Grateful Dead dancing bears on the rear pillars. I'm not so sure, but don't have a better idea. I know I don't want these family stickers, because they are overplayed, but I can see the desire to make your minivan stand out from the sea of minivans in suburbia.

It's funny. And the family stickers are getting old. I like the one with the "open position" addendum, but I'm not sure how effective it will be.

I actually think they're funny. Even funnier when the people who are doing it have a sense of humor.

The only time they get on my nerves is when they have like 19 kids depicted. Damn reproductive marvel.

Cat lady is very good.

I'm less enthralled by the ones that basically say "your family sucks," but poking fun of yourself is always good in my book.
