If I had to do it over again...

I'd give my first child the middle name of "Danger" (so he could always say...)

And my second child the middle name of "RobinHood".

Taylor Danger and Daniel RobinHood. Really cool middle names are so rare...

Mine is Marie. Every Catholic girl's middle name is Marie.

what would you do differently with your/your kids name assuming you would?

Either Marie, or Ann, or Nicole.

My mom gave me a weird middle name, so I'm good. No, I'm not telling...

added: It's not really weird, it's just different. Hated it growing up.

We came this >< close to giving Thor "Trouble" as a middle name. srlsy. Amazon, Pendragon and Artemus are pretty cool middle names, though.

There's a scene from, maybe the first episode of the TV show Brooklyn Bridge, where Alan is being introduced to a bunch of girls . . . "This is Mary Ann .... and Mary Jane .... and Mary Elizabeth ... and Mary Louise . . . . . . "

We tried to pick very straight-up, obvious names that wouldn't be hard to pronounce or spell. I'm happy with them.

However, my dad's middle name is Allen. (In fact, this is what his mother and all her relatives called him, though nobody else ever has to my knowledge.) When I got hold of a genealogy of the family one of his distant cousins did, I learned that Allen had been a middle name for 4 or 5 generations back. If I had known that before my son was born, I'd probably have suggested that for him.

My youngest is Shannon. If she was boy it was going to be Sheamus, which rhymes with our last name. No one liked it. I didn't care. Ah, but it was a girl.

My wife has a middle name of Marie. 6th generation of first born woman with the middle name Marie. I think that is pretty cool.

I named all of my children exactly what I wanted. I have a Shane Ryan, Mikayla Rose, and Brianna Dilara. I wouldn't change a thing.

My middle name is Elizabeth. Growing up I told everyone I was named after the Queen...I was kinda sad when I found out it was really only a great aunt. My initials used to spell my first name in its shortened form. My Mom said she did that deliberately...I actually believed her for a while.

I wanted to name my son Samwise (this is before the LOTR movies were made) but now I'm glad we didn't. His middle name is Hugh, and I wanted it to be either Lugh or Christopher after his father.

Youngest child I wanted to name Phaedra but ex-hubby preferred Ophelia and I let him have his way.

those ARE some pretty cool names! I LOVE Pendragon. I coulda named him Daniel Pendragon! That would have been soooooo cool!

*his father, a DeadHead, said I could name him Jerry or Bobby or Phil. I felt LUCKY to get away with 'Daniel'

his real middle name is...Neil. Yeah, after Neil Young. Sheesh!
