Hello,

I'd like introduce you into Segovia, the town where I live. I have my job in Madrid, but I live in Segovia, which is very near to the capital of Spain. There you are some links:

www.viasegovia.com

We have the Roman "acueducto":

Also the "Alcazar":

The food here is pretty good! and, well... there isn't a McDonalds

He was a fine guitarist but naming a whole town after him seems a bit over the top.

You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.

I feared people would think the Reactionary Republic of Griftopia had jumped on the broadbandwagon before the industry had sorted itself out.

Silly man, tacos are Mexican, not Spanish!

(They do have a Paella Hut, though.)

The Constitutional Monarchy of Sycamoreland is willing to trade you broadband for your Yerba Mate. That way, we won't have to invade you for it anymore.

Actually, Andres Segovia was born in Linares, Spain. How far is that from Segovia, Rucita?

I wrote a great reply a few minutes ago about how, except for travelling to Israel, I have not been near anything built before the late 1400's. And how seeing an example of complex engineering that still stands after thousands of years is very impressive. Then I hit the wrong button and deleted it.

Anyway, please accept in exchange for the beautiful pictures from your town, this picture of the Rocky Statue which stands in front of the Spectrum arena, located next to Philadelphia's Veterans Stadium, which is an example of how the Romans would have built the Colliseum if exposed to the modern concepts of poured concrete and lowest bid sub-contractors.
