Rather interesting story about newly released info about a Pentagon funded project that is researching psychopharmacological weapons.

"based on, "extensive review conducted on medical literature and the new developments in the pharmaceutical industry", the report concludes that, "the development and use of psychopharmacological weapons is achievable and desireable."

Except that it is illegal and violates human rights.

Lets talk benefits...By using this method, it is a non-lethal approach to warfare.

Um...I missed the part where the original Penn State paper talks about applications in warfare. This thing was written a couple of year ago, and was apparently never classified.

I'm sure glad they figured out that valium wasn't going to have much effect on somebody who's been sprayed with OC. What sillyness. Your tax dollars at work...

It's a book on governmental testing of said weapons. They got a few right now that are supposed to make acid look like a cup of coffee. One of my psych professors used to be involved in the acid testing on US service men. I'd say we (as a country) are openly using them inside of five years.

Anyone else remember hearing about a poop gun several months (possible a year) back? It was a sonic weapon that, when fired and struck a human target, would make said target void his/her bowels instantly. Smelly, but efective.
