Not cancer so far.

So I had a bunch of precancerous stuff frozen off my head. Doc said not to loose any sleep over it but we will be following up in September. I blame hay-making in my youth. Shopping for a broader rimmed hat.

As a doctor friend of mine said to me when I had a pre-cancerous skin bit removed, "We're all pre-cancerous." (if we aren't already cancerous)

I'd also give smoe credit to your fair complected ancestors.

In the past few years Dad has had a number of cancerous lesions removed from his scalp and cheek.

When the first one reared its ugly head the doctor asked if he had ever spent prolonged time in the sun.

Initially he said 'no' but then thought of his Royal Navy service in the Indian Ocean in the second half of WW2.

The doc told him that that would have been enough to cause him problems over sixty years later.

Dad was ninety-five last week and thankfully has not had anymore trouble for about three years.

I prefer to have nothing in common with your Senator.

I remember falling asleep in the sun as a little kid and going to church in one of Dad's dress shirts because the blisters were so big and numerous. Christ, how old am I and was I? Mom probably didn't feel like a great parent that day.
