Bread I baked

I baked this yesterday. I guess I should have had something for scale but I forgot. The loaf was about 9 inches in diameter and was about 4 inches high.

Just before I put it in the oven a large bird stepped on it and left his footprint!

My wife and I must be on the anti-low-carb diet because we ate over have of it with lots of butter while it was still hot!

Looks good! Bread (and rolls, muffins, etc) is my comfort food. I should really start baking my own!

Mmmmm...yummy! I love bread.

Griff, there are quite a number of people in my family who can't eat any gluten products. You can get some pretty good gluten free breads here. Do they cater for gluten free much in the US? I know most restaurants offer gluten free options here.

btw, is gluten intollerance the same as wheat intollerance?
