hahahaha this is great. thanks for the warm welcome back in the Cellar. feels like i just stepped out to get more beer at a party.
the square root of negative one is i. its an imaginary number invented just for that reason and has had a profound effect on the world of mathematics. X^2 + 1 = 0 let i^2=-1 then X^2 - i^2 = 0 X^2 = i^2 x= i after readying everyones post (especially bri's and ducks' ), i think i might pop in a bit more often

Hey Kagen! Glad you're back, even if it's just for a little while. Make sure you really bring beer next time, will you?

yeah he was getting messages left right and centre about new fires sparking up and stuff. it really pissed me off when they said on the news they arrested a couple of people for starting fires in the gippsland region.
but theres not too many decisions my dad can make regarding it, its mainly the cfa's place to decide what to do. the national parks need fires anyway, just a shame they have to be so destructive, being massive 1000000 hectere fires and all.

There's been a lot of hoo-har here about the *greenies* not letting livestock in to clean up alot of the underbrush etc, because of damage to the young vegetation.
I agree with the comment about the national parks needing fire, much better when the natives used to light an area up as they were leaving for another hunting ground. Besides, theres plenty of plants that only drop seeds after fire or flood. |
