United States of Tara was fun.

You wonder where they can possibly go with the story after a while, but then they go places with it.

Moon Embracing the Sun. My Korean "Historical" Soap Opera. Based on a novel, not actual hisyory. Surprisingly engaging.

Empresses in the Palace. Chinese Historical Soap Opera. More palace intrigue than A Game of Thrones. Pretty good for a closed ended series.

I get on mystery kicks from time to time. Enjoyed:

Midsomer Murders
Poirot
Bletchley Circle
George Gently
Murdoch Mysteries (Canadian) waiting for a new season sucks.
Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries (Australian)

Love George Gently. Such a lovely change of pace.

His side kick is excellent, too.

I am now watching Aguila Roja, which is a Spanish adventure series. Lots of swashbuckling and a slowly explored backstory. Comic sidekick, vast conspiracy, bit of revenge tale ... but slow revenge.

Oh, and FYI, Silicon Valley is my new favorite comedy. Maybe it's only hilarious if you're close to the tech industry and know the stereotypes, but holy shit is it funny.
