Inside were some yummy goodies and a personal gift. A handmade ornament with my son's name on it.
He was thrilled with the card, the candy and the gift.
Here are the yummies.
THANK YOU SOO VERY MUCH Limey <3 <3

My SS gift finally arrived! It's an awesome gift which includes a lazer measurer (particularly awesome if you ask me), and camping can opener (I'm guessing) and a pile of lollies which the kids have already put a hole in!

Thanks BigV. It was worth the wait!!! xxx

Thank FSM!!!

I am so sorry it was so late.

I am so happy you like it. I worked hard to pick fun stuff. Power Tools was... difficult. As for the can opener, it's not just for camping, it's identical to the one I use in the kitchen. It's a bit of a puzzle, isn't it? And the American Candy? That's just cause you said you didn't like American candy. Truth told, I don't like those very much either. They're *fun*, but not ... "yummy". And, they're versatile. The little magnet--that's my home town.

Thanks for your patience.

The kids have had fun with the pop rocks and the sour suckers. lol

I will use the measurer before long I'm sure, and the can opener will probably go in the camping bag. It looks like it'll do a much better job than the crappy one we have in the bag at the moment.

I recommend practice with the can opener before you trust your meal to it in the wilderness. It's a good one, may it serve you well.

ps... was there any... did customs open it and delay it or some dang thing? any evidence of going round the world the long way, like postmarks from Germany or Iceland or South Central or... ?

The kangaroos have been particularly slow this year, and there is a new limit to how many packages we're allowed to put in each one's pouch.

I sort of think that's it's cool to get seasonal gifts after the holiday season. This way they don't get lost in the mix and have more of an impact.

Maybe we should have a Christmas in July Secret Santa.

If nothing else, I can unload those Christmas cookies I got at %90 off.

That lazer measurer is going to come in handy with adding on the new room at the back! (which wasn't on the cards till yesterday!)

YES! But to make sure all Dwellars can respond, regardless of religious and cultural affiliation, we can call it Secret Sundae's Summer Birthday!

Every Dwellar sends all sorts of lovely tricks and treats to Sundae [me] for 1st July. It's my 40th birthday donchaknow.
Sounds reasonable to me.

I think we should do it on the 10th of June actually. For one thing, I'll be 40 then, AND I'm going to need cheering up since I'll be about 6 months pregnant!
