Have tried to do belated online filing of company return of said dormant company - am now waiting for the Authorities to mail me a 2nd authorisation code snailmail.
Have found a phone number of a total stranger (to me) who may be able to explain where/why the bloke disappeared but the number is engaged and, given that I can't think why he's disappeared except for reason stated in above post about pre-Cambrian layer I don't feel I can leave a message.
Account details for NIC payment still not confirmed.
Can I stop now?

No, make sure that NIC payment is estasblished.
I feel for you, I too am a terrible procrastinator. I have a big stack of personal mail to go through - energy assistance letter, medical forms to fill out, letter from the state of Colorado about something - looks important, but I'm too busy on my computer.

Thumbs up

Monster - you've no idea how much it helped to have you urging me on yesterday! I forced myself to find ways doing one more thing for YOU and did more than I would have done otherwise. Today is admin day off - more tomorrow.
Samiam - there was a banking pause that I couldn't overcome yesterday. The payment was made this morning. Thank you for your concern!

I did the tax returns before I collollaspsed! Today I have to file them. And be chauffeur for my friend. in beest's disgusting car. And apply for a paying job. and clean the house and empty the garage and do more admin.......

glad it worked for you.

my friend called to say she overslept, hold off for a half hour -maybe I can make the car more presentable in that time. Or maybe just waste time here.....

well I did clean beest's disgusting car. after I chauffered my friend about and decided it gave me the skeeves. there were still monkey innards in the driver footwell. ffs. he says it smells funny and is weird shiny now. ...and he was most pissed that I called it disgusting. srsly though, anything worse than the windstar IS a health violation on wheels. and it was worse. much much worse. and the toothpaste on the backseat hindered rather than helped, despite being a cleaning product.

I just can't bear the thought of starting to gut my mother's rental property today for a[n indoor] car-boot sale on Saturday.
So I've voluntarily come home for admin day the sequel today!
So far I have procrastinated by getting the dinner on.
Form filling.
Ugh.
Back to the job, Limey!

NUL points!

God did I do a lot of nothing at all yesterday!
BUT ... I did get The Authorities off my back about the long dormant company, and apologise to a former colleague about my dilatoriness on that front.
And this morning I've filed two bits of paper and binned two more (nagging letters from The Authorities). So, I'm chipping away, chipping away ...

Don't forget to reward yourself, Limey. Get five bits done, then take a tea break and a walk (anything that gets you away from the pile 'o crap).

When I went back to get my CS degree I had to do stuff like this to slog through all the math classes I had to take. Then at the end of each semester I bought myself a CD or something.

Thanks dar, but I spend far too much time planning my rewards by netsurfing!
Today I gained two days (i.e. and tomorrow as well) by my part-time boss changing his plans.
And hoped I'd use them wisely. So far not much.
Back to the job, Limey!
