The Food Lab web site and book

If you enjoy cooking, then you should be reading The Food Lab web site and the book.

The book weighs more than most toddlers. I borrowed it from the library and was only a small percentage through when I had to return it. It's a major tome of cooking knowledge. It's not a cookbook (mostly). It's a cooking instruction manual.

The book was recommended to me after I posted Kenji's Fried Rice instructions on our Slack channel.

Looks interesting.

I like the way they think, what with the "flambe'ing with the bourbon gives...blahblahblah...and gives you a chance to take a swig". ~from the pulled pork video at the link.
