Selling Xbox console and games

Hey guys - I wanted to sell my xbox classic console and about 24 games. I am lost as to where to do this at. I found a website online that buys, but they got a lot of bad reviews from people buying from them. If they aren't good sellers, how good can they be about buying? I went ahead and sent them an email, cause, why not? I though I would post here and see what you all though.

Thanks in advance

A local game shop should be able to buy them off you, and will probably give you a slightly better price than an online scrap site. Keep in mind, however, you are not going to get much money for them. It may be a sophisticated piece of hardware, but it's a very obsolete sophisticated piece of hardware.

I was looking at the places that are local and none of them say buy - they only say trade. I don't want to trade them. I just want them gone. I could try Trade It (they don't have anything online), but they aren't really close to me.

I am really not expecting too much. Just want them out of my house. Something kind of like: "Guy wanted all. Guy pissed me off. Guy made me cry. Get rid of what Guy wants" - lol

There's alway ebay. UT's an expert on that.

Sorry to hear about the emotional situation, bbro. On eBay right now, I see an Xbox classic with 54 games currently bid at just $16.50, less than a day remaining in the auction.

I bet you'd probably get more satisfaction out of throwing it off a roof and sending the guy a YouTube video of it, don't you think?

Bruce - ebay seems like it would take a long time. I just want it gone in one fail swoop.

Clod - that would be awesome, but that would require contacting him - lol.

Although it just hit me - I have another friend that wanted an xbox - maybe he will want this stuff! I would rather just give it to him. Would probably annoy the other guy who wanted it Double win!

The original console in good condition with controller and cables, fetches about $25 on eBay

Some games bundles fetch much more so if you wanted it just gone, put it up as a bundle with all the games listed carefully and make it buy-it-now for $60 with $15 shipping. If it doesn't sell in half a day, lower it by $10 every half day until it does go.

You save a ton of money by packaging yourself and nobody mind a reused box for shipping if you can tape it up securely.

Give it to your friend. And then have sex with him.

lol - he's just a friend. Nothing else there. Besides, he just started dating someone.

Think I might be done with the flings for a while. They always end up crashing into horrible flames
