A google search on "one armed skeleton" reveals two overriding themes:

Q: Why did the one armed skeleton cross the road? A:To get to the second hand shop.

OR

The Lost Dutchman's Mine in Arizona is surrounded by a tale of buried treasure that is guarded by a one armed skeleton.

I tried typing in all the names/locations found on those sites, but none of them went anywhere. Also, Zardoz fed into the cipher is Aziwla, but that yields nothing as well.

I guess so. But I can't find much about Senner's Gold.

EDIT: Apparently Zardoz is a wordplay from the Wi(zard) of (Oz). Hmm...

There's been no developments about this site over the night; so no answer to it yet... did you notice that at the "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE THE STORM" page that the email address changed to DH@thisisnotporn.com? It's usually just porn@thisisnotporn.com. Hmm... Dolphin Hotel?

I'll just redirect you to the foremost page about it.

They seem to have the most clues.

My husband got into it last night and even wrote a fucking perl script to parse the letters. He's a little nuts.

But YellowBolt, you said that the source code on the black letters page contained

Zardoz

, hgrzdz mlgvovph wvniz vml Z

I can't find that anywhere, where did you come up with this?

They're seperate comments. One comment says <!-- Zardoz --> about 1/4 of the way through, and another says <!-- ,hgrzdz mlgvovph wvniz vml Z -->. But why the comma?

Also, the one armed skeleton is supposedly Dick North, some guy you meet in Dance Dance Dance. I read up on it, and if it helps, the main character of the story is chasing some girl named Kiki, who runs into this derelict building. He takes the stairs to the eight floor, enters this empty office, takes more stairs to the ninth floor (I think it's the ninth floor, the author only says 'stairs going up' or was it down?) and enters an 'attic -like' room where there are a bunch of skeletons. One of the skeletons is lying on the bed and has one arm. Dick North in the story only had one arm.
That helps a lot, eh? Say, are Jaguar and Happy Monkey still stuck back at CuriosityKilledTheCat?

No I'm up with you guys but I've been busy.

I have access to a few different rudimentry crypto analysis tools, if i get time i'll set them up and run them over what we have but i have little hope, it's too short for most of the basic techniques.

It could be a few things, the gobbeldygook could be simply that, smoke, unlikely but possible. It could be rudimentry crypto of some sort, it could be ctypto over ascii.

The change in email address suggests to me the author wants to know when people get to this point or expects them to get stuck here.

I still can't figure out the user/pass for the tree/sign page. I've tried a billion combos.

Y'all are further along. What do I do?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot.

That's my personal feeling on the subject. FWIW, the string of letters actually repeats not just once but a good dozen times.

Did anyone figure out what

afg bbb bai bab adc aig baa adc ahd bab bab aef

means? I suspected ASCII, but it just translates to crap.

It's the title of the second page (Asia Awaits).

Not needed for anything so far, but I was intrigued.

Well, unless you've read the book "Dance, Dance, Dance", you'll never get CuriosityKilledTheCat.

The scary thing is, at HyperciumPerforatum, it might also be related to DanceDanceDance. Either that, or Wizard of Oz.

How'd you draw that connection? And what are the hints on the page with the pic of the building?
