IE 7 Sucks

Along with UT's post. Why do I have to have live search and all that crap at top of page, with no handles to move the shit around? Are am I missing something?

I installed IE 7 when I did a bunch of Windoze XP upgrades. My computer has been fucked ever since. In particular, I cannot use the browser...it locks up upon invocation.

I downloaded Firefox, and it is working superbly. Bye, IE...

While loading IE7, the install screen (with its mysterious, ever-cycling progress bar that doesn't mean anything) says "checking for updates from Microsoft".

After the install completes, running Windows Update shows that more updates are needed for IE7 that the IE7 install missed, ignored, or never knew to pick up. Does no one catch these things during design?

oddly for me

IE7 from the start menu is without add ons enabled but clicking the shortcut from the desktop it allows add ons. IF you try to do anything with add ons disabled or from the wrong shortcut the last service pack restricts everything.

it took me along time to figure that out. Even if you go into your tools option and allow add ons but run IE from the wrong place it will just spin and spin like that.

it even restricts itself...how cute

If I switch to FireFox will it copy and load my favs from IE? I don't want to lose an extensive list of links saved.

There's an option to let you import bookmarks.

Maybe it's because I like to keep my computer as spot-free of addons as possible, but I had no troubles installing IE7 at all.

I love IE7!

I downloaded it months ago and I've never had any problems with it. It is simple and effective.

I compared it to FF/FF2 and both of those gave me great problems. They never have the right plugs in...yada yada yada...Can't see all the images on a page...and every image takes alot longer to load when I use FF than when I use IE.
