Great. Now I'm going to be paranoid. (too late actually) Don't drop it...don't drop it. I was at "critters and me" today and looked for a pack. I found a pack that I can carry with the puppy strapped in. Like a papoose. Great for hiking!

I've got my mind set on my own little sweetheart, but thanks Brian! I would post the photos, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Aww, Juniper, they're lovely. What're their names?

Look at the size of the alsatian's paws lol. I love alsations.

I had to play judge in a community dog show the other weekend. There was the most adorable alsatian, called Maverick. The final prize (After Dog with Waggiest Tail, Nicest Eyes, Best handler etc) was Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home.

Maverick got that prize:P

I got the videos off my camera but DAMN YouTube takes forever to upload. I leave it run overnight...like a virus scan.

Hershey 1991-2008

We lost our Hershey this week. She had been hanging in there like a trooper for a long time but went downhill quick. She was not herself and was uncomfortable and we decided it was best for her to put her to sleep. We had a very nice vet come out to the house and it went as well as it can.

Not totally unexpected, but we are just heartbroken. She was the sweetest little cat.

Previous posts of Hershey are here:

In funny kitty pix with Layla, who we had to put to sleep in 2003, also because of kidney disease.
Sleeping in the family pic
Having a snack
Most recently...

And two more pics, one early sighting, going a little nuts hopped up on catnip, and a more recent one, trying to nose in on my dessert (she does love redi whip).

Sorry to hear of your loss gtown. She looked like a great cat and thanks for sharing her with us. She put in her full time, and you did the best for her.

Sorry gtown, she looks like she was a bundle of fun.

Here's one I took a while back (black hair!) of Hely.
I didn't really have a chance to review it at the time as the battery ran out, so it's quite dark. I'll replace it with a better one at some point, but for the time being:

Thanks all...

Good video SG, and quite a fancy collar. If you've explained before, I missed it, but what's the origin of the name Hely? If it's Brit slang I've somehow missed it in all the Britcoms I've seen. Or is it some version of Hell-Cat or Helicopter-Cat?

Hely has since lost her fancy collar - but as she's not allowed out yet it's somewhere in the house. Diz still has his, which is more important.

I've no idea where Hely comes from. I just liked the sound of it. And yes - I call her Hel-cat. Shhhh, don't tell her.
