Just saw a part of his standup last night on HBO. It was pretty funny, but have to admit, it wasn't as funny as when he first started doing standup, but funny nonetheless.

Right now, my favorite is Dave Chappelle. OMG, that show is a hot mess!!!! The episode that had Wayne Brady as a co-host was hilarious!!!!!

Dave Chappelle and his writing team had to have me in mind as part of their target audience...Chappelle's Show is quite possibly one of the funniest shows ever created.

Audience member: "Negrodamus, why do white people like Wayne Brady so much?"

Negrodamus: "White people like Wayne Brady because...he makes Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X."

Favorite Comedian

My favorite comedian would have to be Eddie Murphy. I grew up on Eddie. And I'm talking about the young Eddie, not today's Eddie. Although he has done a couple of movies that show his comedic talent, but nothing like in the 80's. His stand up is the best. If you haven't seen Delirious or Raw, I suggest you find them and watch them. They are the best.

I did watch the Chris Rock Special Saturday and I have to say, he's still got it. He is one of the greats as well. Another would be Rodney Carrington. He's like Jeff Foxworthy on steriods.

Now we've been talking about the comedians who are, lets say, in the Rated R category. What about the ones that are Rated PG? Bill Cosby has always been great at stand up. Sinbad is also on of the greats.

Absolutely. Cosby and Sinbad are hilarious without being "R" rated, which is ok. Cosby's standup special that he did on HBO back in 1984 (which was the basis for the show) is one of the funniest routines that I've ever seen. And Sinbad..well, he just needs Jesus...

I haven't seen Rock's latest special, though I hear he pulled a Leary circa Lock 'n Load and ended the show talking about families and relationships and such. Bad omen.

Stand-up, one of my favorites is Lewis Black. On stage or on The Daily Show, the guy just can't be touched.

My brand of comedy is: The Daily Show, Raw and Delirious Eddie Murphy (his impressions are incredible), Ron White, the Cos and Jeff Foxworthy. I used to like Carlin, went to see him live once (front row dinner theatre in Laughlin), but now he's just old and bitter, and it's the same jokes with the names recycled.

You mean Ron "Tater Salad" White!

He's great and so is Lewis Black and they are both channelling the late Bill Hicks.
