July 23, 2007: Monkey on a goat on a platform on a wire

It's Neatorama Collaboration Monday!

And the subject line says it all. What more do you need to know? It's a monkey on a goat on a platform on a wire!

The item is from China Daily, where the full story gives no more information (and one less interesting shot).

Don't miss the little guy's tongue, in case you didn't see it when you glanced at another animal IotD.

Be sure to check out our friends at Neatorama for more neato items all the time!

Hey, even the monkey knows - tough tasks are easier with your tongue sticking out.

I can't tell if the goat is concentrating intently, or incredibly pissed off.

It's not the former since the goat could almost do this in its sleep. It's pissed off at the monkey for giving it a raspberry.

Zoom in on the base of the pedestal. It seems Chinese tables can levitate beside the wire, not on it.

Really strange that I heard this song this morning:

One little problem that confronts you,
got a monkey on your back.
Just one more fix, Lord, might do the trick.
One hell of a price for you to get your kicks. (hell, yeah)

Good eye Spud! Fake pic in my book. I'd still eat 'em though! Imagine, a BBQ'ed goat balanced on a dinner plate...Mmm, that's good eatin'!
