That is an excellent line.

I also love this scene. This is from the movie In the Loop - a satire on the lead up to the Iraq war - in this case an unnamed middle east country. It had a pretty reasonable US cinema release for an independent British film - so for a lot of the audience this was their first introduction to Malcolm Tucker - this is from the first scene in the film

*note - in the movie Chris Addison plays a different, but very similar, character to the one he plays in the series. This is also his first meeting with Tucker

Oh noes! that last one is not available. Can you recall what it was?

I have no idea if this will play across the pond - hope so.

This was a very funny and relaxing hour of Christmas tv - this clip gives some of the flavour of it.

Travel Man - Richard Ayoade and Jon Hamm spend 48 hours in Hong Kong.

Not a clip - whole episode. Awesome.

Frankie Boyle's take on the year - and a panel discussion with some funny people.

Sorries.

I can barely remember yesterday, October never even happened.

Well. That's not what I needed to see second thing this morning.

Maybe, after the names have been changed, I might tell what went down first thing this morning.

Not so much a clip as a link to a channel:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqa...6ORAlO5yMBtWXg

I'm ever so slightly addicted to this channel. It's called Lost in the Pond and is a series of vlogs and question/answer vids by a guy from the north of England who lives in the US with his American wife of 10 years.

He also has a website I believe - and given he's been doing this for some time, this posting may be old news to others - but I have only recently discovered his youtube channel.

He's really funny.

Watched the vid on his trip to Hopkinsville, Ky for the eclipse.

After I woke up I wanted my eight minutes back.

Maybe I lost something in translation.

Maybe you were drunker than I am. I only been drinking for an hour.

Trigger warning - if you're a Trump supporter, or particularly offended by feminism you may not find this much fun.

there are some very funny and clever signs - but I really like the 'Please note the lack of Nazis at our marches' sign. I like how formal it is.

Embiggen to be able to read them
