PS4 vs. xbox one

Anyone plays these consoles? I was thinking getting the ps4 but someone just told me that I'd have to rent with no options to buy games with the ps4. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I would get xbox one, but it's not backwards compatible and I don't HAVE to play any of the games it has exclusivity with. If I have to have both consoles, I would probably go PS4 and kep my xbox 360 plugged in
