September 7, 2012: Buffalo dog

I totally didn't record the details of where this came from, but there are no details needed, really. You know it's hard to wear white and get wet, so dog has worked out a way to make his commute with assistance. He has all the bored expression of a regular train commuter, too.

Now all he needs to do is build him a home.

Yes.

And who is Blanche Dubois? Is she from Streetcar? Coz I only saw that when the Simpson's put it on and Marge was Blanche and Apu was the innocent paperboy who didn't know what to doooooooooooooooooooooo.

Yep. Streetcar. There's a scene in the movie when Blanche sings it to herself. She's kind of whimsical, sort of trails off...I love Vivien Leigh!

I hear it in my head like the movie is on right now. Wish I could find a clip.

Color me wrong wrong wrong. I was talking about that with coworkers and someone said I was thinking of It's A Wonderful Life when Donna Reed is walking along singing it. I think I melded that with VL as Scarlett singing/humming in the morning after Rhett must have gave it to her good.

Can't edit. There it is for all and progeny to see: I was WRONG.

(Actually, I don't mind admitting I'm wrong but it's embarrassing. Can I play the 'getting old my memory ain't what it used to be' card?)

I guess that answers the question of whether or not those are Cape Buffalo. That is since Dog isn't a greasy red smear in the water.
