Wull,

Alls I know is sometimes, in the garden, a plant takes a while to throw off the seed section where it started? And when it does that is when it really takes off and becomes identifiable? It looks like this thang had a problem throwing off its seed section.

If I recall correctly, I think it was a pine tree.

Yep. It was a pine tree.

some oblique qlues

I've just washed them. When I removed them, the convex side (the side facing the camera) was covered with glycol.

They're a matched set, all from the same thingy. Every one of you has been in the presence of these components, or ones functionally identical. Sometimes these lenses are clear and the glycol is colored.

They're pretty cool, but I don't have a project in mind for them at the moment. There were other components I scavenged from the thingy that are much more fun.

They must have come from rear projection tv then. And you are keen on using the big mirror and screen.

And this is what I have in mind for the fresnel lens in the front of the screen.

Ultimately, I'll make a frame for it like this:

I only have the silver bezel on it at the moment and I took it to my friends yesterday and in just a few seconds, we charred a dark rag. White paper towels seem much more immune. I also learned that I need some darker sunglasses, much darker.

More later. Congrats glatt!

The sun is to your right, and there's a large window reflecting the sun to your left. The car has some molding coming off. Your left foot is slightly pigeon toed the way you are standing.

Edit: And it looks like a trickle of piss from some homeless guy is following a joint in the concrete slab.

No piss, epoxy in the crack or joint in the concrete... and ugly shoes.

Driveway stains to the left of me, driveway stains to the right, there you are, stuck in the middle with you(r) left shoe coming untied. Beside your car.
