spacebook
We should start some kind of "social network" thing. I'm not sure if that's a good phrase but we can work on that.
I envision a place where you have your own 'page' and you can let others on to your page to learn about your likes and dislikes, who you're dating or who you've dumped, pics of the families and friends...that sort of thing. Maybe it's a silly idea. I don't know if it would take off or not but think about how big lycos got. That started out as a spark too. I think a good name would be spacebook. Like "here's MY space, but it's like an online book." What do you guys think? Is it worth pursuing? It's just an inkling of an idea...we'd need a lot of programming type people, knowledgeable in basic and fortran and stuff. |

Do you think we could make it kind of interactive and easily updateable, so we could share our thoughts and feelings and how our days are going? I think I remember some Prolog

I really like this idea!
If only I had a button I could click to indicate that. |

I'd really like to share this idea with my friends -but only the ones in my close circle, we don't want to have to share the profits with too many

How do we keep creepy people out of our 'network'? Could there be a system where you could yay or nay people? |

I'm worried about privacy.
Also, are you planning to regularly screw with the interface to piss people off?

You're worrying over nothing then.

Maybe we could have a news feed attached somehow. Like the tickers at the bottom of the TV? You wnat to be news developer? Just think, if this takes off we could stand to make thousands of dollars. Quote:
Hey, maybe we could put some games on there. You could play with people in your network of friends. Maybe minesweeper, pac-man...multiplayer pong? |

I think we should incorporate sex somehow. They say sex sells, and it's a pointless venture unless we can sell it someday to the public in an overhyped, overpriced IPO kind of thing.
so maybe we could call it facialbook?
