Anybody listen to Sabaton?

I've really gotten hooked on Sabaton, a Swedish metal band. Do any of ya'll listen to them? Their music is based on military events/conflicts. Here's a fan video on youtube:

It freaks my soldiers out when they catch me listening to metal, especially gothic metal. I guess I just don't look it. LOL

I say if someone is freaked out by your musical taste then you know they prefer pigeon-holing than real thinking. I'm not being holier-than-thou, I've been guilty myself. But I've been on the receiving end far more often.

Can't say I see the appeal in any metal, but good on you for going against sterotypes.

PS the closest I came was Lordi in the Eurovision Song Contest. North Europeans love them some metal. And even then it was only because they were like nothing else that year.

BTW this is the performance after they won. Hence the slightly incongruous Finnish top hat.

I use to get that response from my staff and troops as well. I am a big Metallica fan and would play it full blast.

Why it shocks my troops:

I'm not your typical metal fan. Ya'll have to realize I'm pushing 50. I'm a good ole boy from Mississippi. I love hunting & fishing. I drive a 4x4 pick up & love grits in the morning. LOL It's just not what these kids expect.

BTW, I'd kill for an RC Cola & a Moon Pie right now. Any of ya'll like them?
